On Sept. 14, a brush fire in Dry Creek Canyon moved rapidly toward homes on Connecticut Drive in the Federal Pointe development. Thanks to rapid response by the Salt Lake City Fire Department, aided by other agencies, the fire was soon brought under control with no injuries or damage to residents or the first responders.
The Federal Pointe homeowners wish to express our deep gratitude to the firefighters who responded with such immediate professionalism with shovels, hoses, trucks, planes and helicopter assistance. They held the fire line and served our community with courageous service.
