Letter: Stay the course, Mr. Bagley

(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) Pat Bagley.

Obviously, Mr. Bagley, some of your recent cartoons are ruffling a few feathers among some of us. It seems to me that those who don’t understand the message and meaning behind them are the ones mostly perturbed by them. I encourage you to continue, as you have many of us loyal readers who do understand, even when something we don’t like is posted, we are still here and will continue to support you. It’s about our freedom of speech.

Thanks for your entertaining and serious views of the issues that plague us. Stay on course.

Andy J. Miera, Draper

Support free news for Utah

sltrib.com is now free to access — no subscription required. We made this decision because we believe access to trustworthy, independent news shouldn’t depend on what you can afford — especially as misinformation and AI-generated content continue to rise.

Free to read doesn’t mean free to produce. Our reporters show up every day to ask hard questions and hold powerful institutions to account. That work takes resources. As a nonprofit newsroom, we rely on support from people who believe it matters. Make a donation today to fund local news that serves Utah communities.

You can help us bring more local news to more communities today.
