Why is there no talk of changing the University of Utah’s mascot?
Racism is being addressed all over the United States. Many places are proactively changing slogans and marketing images. Universities are removing racist statues and renaming buildings — but the U. is clinging to its shameful Ute image?
This embarrassment should have been eliminated many years ago.
