Letter: It’s the GOP’s fault we’re in this mess
(Patrick Semansky | AP file photo) Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Ky., speaks with reporters Tuesday, April 21, 2020, on Capitol Hill in Washington.
Let's put the blame where it belongs. I've been venting about President Trump and his reluctance to act ever since this pandemic began. But it's time to put the blame where it belongs. We all knew that the president is an arrogant moron, but the Republican senators who allowed him to remain in office are really to blame. With the exception of Mitt Romney.
The blood is on their hands, and we’ve already had more Americans die during this pandemic (over 83,000) than we did during the entire war in Vietnam.
