Letter: The Constitution is getting old and fragile
(Patrick Semansky | AP file photo) Light shines on the U.S. Capitol dome in Washington, Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019.
The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States. It was ratified in 1788.
The Constitution is the glue that has held the United States together for over 200 years. It's getting a little old and fragile. It also seems to be sliding a bit. A large hammer could maybe even shatter it.
An impeachment trial is coming up soon. Some of our legislators are thinking of their jobs and money over the Constitution. I hope they pick the latter. If the Constitution is shattered, so will America as we know it.
