Letter: Is that really Stewart’s position?
(Andrew Harnik | AP file photo) Rep. Chris Stewart, R-Utah, questions Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire as he testifies before the House Intelligence Committee on Capitol Hill in Washington, Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019.
A question for Rep. Chris Stewart: Since you believe it’s perfectly appropriate for President Trump to withhold military aid from Ukraine unless it investigates corruption, including potential misdeeds by Hunter Biden, son of Trump’s highest polling political opponent, is it not all right for House leadership to ask China to investigate Jared and Ivanka Kushner, Don Jr. and Eric Trump for their business dealings in China?
If your approach is fully adopted, both parties can use governments all over the world to help them win domestic elections.
For the record, is that really your position?
