Letter: Some of us readers aren’t Mormons
(Trent Nelson | Tribune file photo) The Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
I’m wondering why The Salt Lake Tribune doesn’t just change the name to Deseret News II. Every day, where there should be national news, we’re subjected to endless coverage of every single thing going on in the Mormon church.
Believe it or not, there are people living in this state who aren’t Mormons, myself included. I don’t need endless articles about the difficulties the missionaries are experiencing in Russia or other countries.
There’s so much going on nationally and we, as readers, deserve coverage of that. Thank you.
