Letter: Mass murderer or Republican?
(David Goldman | AP file photo) A U.S. flag flies at half-staff on Main Street in memory of the 26 students and staff killed in a mass shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, Conn., on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012.
If I consciously and deliberately plan a course of action that predictably results in the death of multiple human beings, what am I?
Considering recent events in this country, I am either a mass murderer or a Republican legislator who votes against health insurance and gun reform. The former is very likely to be held responsible for his crime. The latter is allowed to kill with impunity.
