Letter: An uncivilized lack of sanitation facilities
(Trent Nelson | Tribune file photo) A UTA TRAX train at the City Center station in Salt Lake City is reflected in a pillar on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.
Bemused, I read that UTA mostly cleaned up its problems, but some problems remain. Like a lack of sanitation facilities perhaps?
It’s all about the riders? Attractive artwork, benches and even developments and condos at every stop.
But no toilets, no sanitation facilities. The same for downtown Salt Lake City — where are the public facilities? Uncivilized.
The travelers and homeless are treated like dogs, sans pickup baggies.
