Letter: The end of our liberty

Most of us know the saying “All it takes for evil to win is for good people to do nothing.”

It is hard to believe that that has ever been more relevant than it is today.

President Trump’s desire to have retribution against Saturday Night Live is something a dictator would do.

There is a good reason why the First Amendment listed our rights. If we ever become a country with just one point of view legal to speak or write, and all others are illegal, that is the end of our liberty.
