The continued prevarication by President Trump and his cronies continues unabated.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders recently declared in an informal press opportunity, “There are 4,000 terrorists” entering the United States. "They enter by air, by land and by sea."
She did not clarify whether she was referring to a day or a month. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, we can assume she meant 4,000 terrorists surreptitiously entering through our supposedly porous southern border every month.
Fact checking by MSNBC revealed that six potential terrorists were detained in the past month.
Most of these were detected by TSA in airports. Ironically, the president’s shutdown includes a significant number of TSA employees.
Sanders might want to check her facts in the future. Her credibility is at stake.
