I just read the opinion piece “Religious leaders say, ‘No fun for you!’” by Johnny Townsend. I was frankly amazed that a presumably respectable newspaper would publish such a hate-filled diatribe as an “Opinion” piece.
The article was simply a smear with little journalistic or commentary value. The article does demonstrate two points very effectively — the lack of character within Mr. Townsend and the lack of journalistic integrity on the part of the Salt Lake Tribune.
