The state recently came out saying we are in a severe drought that is affecting our wildlife. Yet a state agency is increasing the limit on hunting cougars, with no real clue on how many are out there.
But you have to protect the deer and elk for revenue and also for those who raise sheep (even though they are compensated for their losses).
Start thinking and listening to the biologists and not how much money the state can get from deer and elk licenses.
