Note to Robert Kirby: In the future, before expressing your views on how sexual abuse victims should behave in church, or approaching female writers with sexually charged statements and offering still-illegal substances for consumption, please pause a moment and think how you would want your wife, daughter or granddaughter to be treated.
I would also add that had Kirby been black, his offer of edibles in public would have likely resulted in an arrest. Check your white, male privilege.
With that said, I look forward to the return of an enlightened Robert Kirby to the pages of The Salt Lake Tribune.
