Letter: One fire-causing holiday down, one to go

(Rick Egan | The Salt Lake Tribune) Soccer fans enjoy the fireworks after watching soccer action between Real Salt Lake and Sporting Kansas City at Rio Tinto Stadium, Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

An update on the letter I sent in about aerial fireworks:

About 10 p.m. on the Fourth of July, the front yard across the street and three houses to the south of me caught fire from fireworks. The neighbors managed to put it out, but at one point the flames were 3 feet high.

The 24th of July is still coming. Another day to worry about fireworks.
