The residents of Salt Lake City have been screwed by city government.
The city canceled the annual curb pickup program when people could dispose of refuse that they wanted sent to landfill, claiming a new and better program would begin July 1. They would collect and dispose of bulk waste.
The new program is exactly the same as Big Brothers Big Sisters curb pickup. They will pick up reusable items, not refuse; nothing over 5 feet long; nothing that weighs 60 pounds. Please, city government, reinstate your old program.
