Letter: That slick huckster Mitt is campaigning on empty promises
(Leah Hogsten | The Salt Lake Tribune) U. S. Senate candidate Mitt Romney delivers his speech to the delegates at the Utah Republican Nominating Convention on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Maverik Center.
Marla Mott-Smith is right. Mitt Romney’s ads are sickening.
Romney is a slick huckster who says he is a “deficit hawk,” whatever that means. Romney says he wants to reduce the deficit/debt without offering one single way how to do it. Not one!
Marla smartly points out that to reduce, we have to either raise taxes or reduce services. What do you say, Mitt?
We know Romney is just going to campaign on “going to Washington to work on solutions.” Which means he’ll fizzle-fuzzle around for six years kissing up to Trump.
Thanks for nothing in advance.
