Letter: Bring back the Money section, please

I add my voice to others to others to complain and lament the RIF of The Tribune writers and, in particular, those in charge of the Money section.

I’m now ancient and retired and without the use of the web. I waited each morning to see how Utah stocks were performing and also to read any business reports pertaining to current happenings and what prospective companies had to offer.

Please, please, can we have a return to some business news?

Marjorie Riches, Salt Lake City

sltrib.com is now free to access — no subscription required. We made this decision because we believe access to trustworthy, independent news shouldn’t depend on what you can afford — especially as misinformation and AI-generated content continue to rise.

Free to read doesn’t mean free to produce. Our reporters show up every day to ask hard questions and hold powerful institutions to account. That work takes resources.
