Letter: A biased organization decrying bias against Trump? That’s rich.
(Carolyn Kaster | The Associated Press) President Donald Trump speaks to media as he meets with crew and passengers of Southwest Airlines Flight 1380 in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
In her letter published in The Public Forum, dated May 3, Sheila Thompson outlines her case supporting her premise that the mainstream media are biased against President Trump. One of her supporting facts comes from the Media Research Center, which states, “Since his inauguration, the Big Three broadcast networks had 90 percent negative coverage of Trump.” The irony of this fact is that the Media Research Center is unabashedly biased.
Its stated goal is to “expose and neutralize the propaganda arm on the Left: the national news media.” Thompson is using an exceedingly biased source to support her claim of bias. How ironic.
