Letter: Here are the Utah laws we'll get in 2019

(Rich Kane | The Salt Lake Tribune) Social Axe Throwing co-owner Steve Lister demonstrates a double-handed hurl.

In the next legislative session, I expect we will see the following bills:

1 • A 0.5 alcohol limit while throwing axes.

2 • A new law similar to the one allowing cars to go through red lights as long as one feels it’s safe. The new law will state it’s OK to drive any speed on the freeway as long as one feels it’s safe (of course, the elimination of the safety inspection will stay in place).

3 • We will refuse federal education tax dollars that would have paid for the public education of our children.

4 • State taxes will be completely eliminated on the wealthiest individuals/businesses.

5 • Mandated signs at each door entrance of the Capitol which state “This is a Capitol, not a Church.”
