Letter: Trump’s bravery boast runs five draft deferments deep

(AP Photo/Evan Vucci) In this Feb. 22, 2018, photo, President Donald Trump speaks during a meeting with state and local officials to discuss school safety in the Roosevelt Room of the White House in Washington.

So President Trump tells the nation’s governors on Monday that he would have gone into the high school in Florida without a gun.

Really? This is coming from a guy who had five draft deferments during the Vietnam War?

You’re no hero, either. Define irony.
