Letter: Global warming’s effects are scary — as the head of the EPA, who can’t see that

Scott Pruitt, the head of the EPA, questions whether a warming climate is such a bad thing. While the impact that human activity has on climate change can be debated, the effects of a warming climate on planet Earth cannot. At the very least, polar ice will melt, seas will rise, ocean currents will change, storm surges will get larger, coastal areas will be flooded and islands around the world will disappear.

By any measure, that is bad. It is absolutely frightening that this man is in charge of the agency that is tasked with protecting our environment.
