Minivan crashes into Lehi church building following possible medical emergency

A driver who may have suffered a medical emergency crashed into a church building after colliding with another vehicle early Friday.

The Lehi Police Department said the minivan’s adult male driver first struck the other vehicle just before 8 a.m., and then struck the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building at 630 S Weeping Willow Way.

While there were no life-threatening injuries following the accident, the minivan’s driver was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Police said the driver likely had an undisclosed medical issue before the crash.
