How SLC airport is faring in wake of government shutdown
The airport isn’t currently seeing delays from the shutdown, a spokesperson said.

The federal government shutdown isn’t bogging down security or air travel at Salt Lake City International Airport, officials say.
The shutdown began at midnight Wednesday after Congress could not agree to fund the government amid a budget fight over health care.
Security screening is operating as normal, airport spokesperson Nancy Volmer said Wednesday, and the airport is “not seeing any impacts at this point.”
Because the Transportation Security Administration is deemed essential, its agents are required to work during the shutdown, even if pay may be delayed, according to USA Today.
Utah’s national parks, meanwhile, will also remain open but with limited staffing.
