A man was injured near Fairpark on Saturday night, and Salt Lake City police are still looking for suspects.
First responders found the man inside a vehicle near 25 N. Redwood Road at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday night, according to a news release from SLCPD. The man had “shooting-related injuries” that were later identified as cuts from glass breaking during the shooting, and he was released from the hospital later that evening.
Police believe the suspect or suspects shot at the man from their own vehicle, then fled the area.
Officers are investigating two crime scenes associated with the shooting: one at North Temple and North Cornell and the other at 1530 W. North Temple. Officials did not say how these two locations were connected to the shooting and did not provide a suspect description.
The shooting is under investigation, and anyone with information should contact SLCPD at 801-799-3000, according to the release.
