Police are investigating the “suspicious” death of a 2-month-old infant Monday in South Salt Lake, according to the South Salt Lake Police Department.
The scene at approximately 3600 South and State Street is contained, police said, and there is no threat to the public.
Police described the child’s death as “unattended,” but did not provide further details.
A police spokesperson had not returned a request for comment as of Monday evening.
