Police are investigating after two bodies were found in a Cedar City home.

Police received a 911 call shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday from a person who reported there appeared to be a dead person in a home near 1800 W. Harding Ave. When officers arrived, they found two bodies.

The department announced Friday that the dead people have been identified as Lucas Hughes and Ethan Rapoza, both 18 years old. Police say they were stabbed to death.

“After carefully evaluating all the current evidence, we do not believe there exists any public safety threat, or outstanding suspects,” reads a news release from the department.

Police are still investigating the deaths.
