Forecast: Cold rain could cause slick roads, National Weather Service says

Parts of Northern Utah may get freezing rain on Wednesday.

Northern Utah might experience pockets of freezing rain Wednesday, according to National Weather Service Salt Lake City.

The rain is expected to impact areas near the Idaho border including I-84 from Snowville to Tremonton and I-15 north of Cache Valley and Bingham City.

While large ice accumulations are not expected, the rain could create slick road conditions, especially in the morning and evening, according to the NWS.
