A man was killed in a car crash Friday evening when another driver ran a stop sign after being chased by a car that had been rear-ended, police said.
The chain of events began at 13 S. 300 East when a driver left after rear-ending another car. according to Salt Lake City Police. While trying to get away, the driver ran a stop sign near 1100 E. Bryan Ave. and crashed into a third car. A person in the third car died at the scene.
The driver is suspected of driving under the influence, according to police.
