Ogden • Ogden police say a man who carjacked a car was then killed in a head-on crash several miles away when the stolen vehicle veered into oncoming traffic.
Police say the carjacked had first tried unsuccessfully to steal one woman's vehicle at a mall before confronting another woman and stealing her car moments later Friday night.
Police said the man stopped at a gas station about three miles away to buy cigarettes before crashing head-on with a van whose driver suffered minor injuries in the wreck.
No identities were released.
