Two men killed in Utah plane crash identified

The wreckage of a small plane with the bodies of two men aboard was located Thursday near Henefer.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the deaths, and said the plane flew out of Evanston, Wyo., shortly before 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The two victims — identified as Samuel Cortright, 24, and Kenneth Cram, 60 — both employees of a pipeline company, were checking pipelines in the area. When they did not return to Evanston as scheduled, a search for the missing plane began. It was located Thursday morning.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the Cessna 210 crashed 3 or 4 miles west of Henefer, a town along Interstate 84 about 5 miles north of where it meets Interstate 80. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.
