The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released an artist’s rendering of the Layton Temple — a three-story, 87,000-square-foot structure.

The new temple, announced by church President Russell M. Nelson in April 2018, will be built on an 11.8-acre site at the corner of Oak Hills Drive and Rosewood Lane. No date has been set for the groundbreaking.

The Layton Temple, along with five announced for Orem, Taylorsville, Tooele Valley, Saratoga Springs and Washington County, will bring the total number of Latter-day Saint temples in Utah to 23.
