Hispanic heritage parade in Salt Lake City celebrates pride, raises awareness about those without health insurance

The third annual Hispanic heritage parade and street festival celebrated Hispanic culture in Utah and raised awareness about the high number of uninsured Hispanic children in the state.

The parade featured displays of pride from people who trace their lineage to 17 countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico. The parade wound its way through the Gateway entertainment district and mall in downtown Salt Lake City on Saturday.
