The victim of a July 10 drive-by shooting in Taylorsville has died, Unified Police confirmed.
Jawnie Wey, 48, died early Friday. Ten days earlier, she was in her home near 4900 South and 1950 West when she was struck in the head by a bullet fired from the park across the street.
According to police, the investigation into the shooting is continuing.
