Cedar City police search for 63-year-old missing for 2 weeks

St. George • Cedar City police are looking for a 63-year-old man who has been missing for nearly two weeks.

The Spectrum reports that Johnny Dale Rollins was last seen March 27. Family members say Rollins has a history of stroke and signs of dementia.

Police Chief Darin Adams says a family member who lived with Rollins told investigators he left their home to go for a walk and never returned. The family member told police it’s common for Rollins to take long walks.

Adams says the only tip that investigators have is someone reporting seeing a man wondering in the Arizona Strip desert alone. But Adams said investigators haven’t found any additional clues as to whether Rollins was the man in question.
