Print subscribers, here’s how to add unlimited digital access

Still like the smell of ink on paper? Bless you. The Salt Lake Tribune has delivered news in print for nearly 147 years, and we’re proud to be there for you.

Print readers don’t have to miss out on even more to read, see and hear at our website, sltrib.com. We launched a digital subscription program, and we are limiting non-digital subscribers to 10 articles and/or comments pages per month.

But Tribune print subscribers get a discounted rate of $1.99 per month (99 cents the first month) to add a digital subscription.

Why the added cost? The website and our mobile app have more staff-written articles and commentary than we can fit in print — and videos and podcasts we can’t offer in print.

You pay a little more to get a lot more. It’s updated continuously and available on your computer, phone or tablet. We’ll also send you a daily email with a link to a digital replica of the newspaper you can view in a web browser.

Why a different bill for digital and print? We at The Tribune are managing the digital subscriptions on our own and all of the money raised will cover newsgathering, while print still goes through Utah Media Group.

Print subscribers can add digital by going to sltrib.com/subscribe and choosing the “Digital add-on” option. If you have any questions about the process, drop an email to subscribe@sltrib.com.

And thanks for reading, on paper and pixels.
