Big night for stand-up

Three major comedians have big shows in Salt Lake City on Thursday night. Tom Segura, known for his Netflix specials and podcasts, is scheduled to perform at Delta Center, 301 W. South Temple, starting at 8 p.m.; tickets are available at deltacenter.com. Comic, author and former talk-show host Chelsea Handler is set to play Abravanel Hall, 123 W. South Temple, starting at 7 p.m.; tickets are available at saltlakecountyarts.org. And Matt Rife, who has performed in Netflix specials and the comedy show “Wild ‘n Out,” is set to perform two shows at Kingsbury Hall, 1295 E. Presidents Circle, starting at 7 and 10 p.m.; the shows are sold out.

April 5

Tim McGraw brings the country

Country superstar Tim McGraw is coming back to Utah, set to perform on his “Standing Room Only Tour” Friday at Delta Center, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Opening acts are Carly Pearce and Restless Road. Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets available at deltacenter.com.

More comedy at Kingsbury

You might recognize comedian Ronny Chieng from “Crazy Rich Asians,” “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” or even Old Spice commercials. The Malaysian comic is scheduled to perform Saturday, starting at 7 p.m., at Kingsbury Hall, 1295 E. Presidents Circle, Salt Lake City. Tickets available at artstickets.utah.edu.
