We all know that Thanksgiving will be different this year.

Large indoor gatherings are discouraged, to avoid spreading the coronavirus. And that eliminates the big holiday potluck that many Utah families are used to — and appreciate — since they only have to cook one or two items on the menu.

Restaurants, caterers and bakeries are stepping in, though, offering complete turkey dinners for pickup and delivery — as well as a la carte options for cooks who just need help with side dishes, rolls or pies.

The meals offer a safe way to give thanks — without washing the pots and pans — and can help Utah’s struggling food industry.

Here are some pickup and delivery options for dinner, as well as a list of bakeries for pies, rolls and other desserts to go.
