17 days of deals during Salt Lake City’s annual Dine O’Round

Salt Lake City restaurants will kick off 17 days of deals Friday, Oct. 18, for the annual Downtown Dine O’Round.

During the promotion, diners can visit participating restaurants and get three-course dinners or two-item lunches at special prices. The deals continue through Sunday, Nov. 3.

Lunch specials will cost $10, $15 or $20, depending on the restaurant, while dinner specials are $20, $30 or $40. No need to sign up, carry a card or clip coupons, but you will have to ask for the Dine O’Round menu.

More than two dozen restaurants are participating in the event — now in its 17th year. There are options in every price range from fine dining — like Martine, HSL and Ruth’s Chris — to casual, think Caputo’s Market & Deli, Taco Taco and Bocata.

Newcomers this year include Campos Coffee, CoreLife Eatery, Ginger Street, Honest Eatery and MAIZE.

The Downtown Alliance coordinates this event each fall to encourage diners to try new restaurants or return to old favorites, said executive director Dee Brewer.

“There are more than 120 restaurants in walkable downtown Salt Lake City with a variety of styles and price points,” he said in a news release. “Diners can also enjoy some of the live music, theater and visual arts events happening downtown.”

Participants can enter to win a downtown dining package by posting photos from their experience on Instagram using the hashtag #DineORound and tagging @downtownslc.

Sample menus and participating locations can be found at www.dineoround.com.
