Country legend Garth Brooks is returning to Utah, performing two shows at the Delta Center in October.
Brooks’ “Blame It All on My Roots” tour will make a stop Oct. 9 and 10 at the Delta Center, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City, the musician announced Wednesday.
Tickets for the Delta Center shows go on sale online, via SeatGeek, Friday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m. Mountain time. All tickets are $154, plus tax (fees and service charge included).
Unlike most acts, who put out their whole tour itinerary all at once, Brooks traditionally announces his shows one city at a time. In September, he’s scheduled for four shows in Chicago, two in Washington, D.C., and two in Orlando.
Brooks will perform in the round, with the stage at one end of the arena, surrounded by a “halo” of LED screens. The shows will give concertgoers “an immersive experience,” a news release said, featuring “fan favorites and iconic hits” from across the singer’s career.
Brooks’ accolades include a Kennedy Center Honors, the Library of Congress’ Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, seven CMA Entertainer of the Year awards, two Grammys, 17 American Music Awards, 12 People’s Choice Awards, and membership in the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry.
Brooks last visited Utah in June 2022, performing two concerts at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
