The downtown Salt Lake City theater announced eight productions, plus two add-ons, for the 2026-2027 season.

Broadway at the Eccles has lined up 10 touring stage productions for the 2026-2027 season — starting with the story of the next generation of wizards and witches at Hogwarts.

“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” an effects-loaded stage play that expands J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world to the next generation, will launch the season, with shows from Sept. 19 to Oct. 11. The play follows Harry Potter’s son Albus at Hogwarts, befriending the son of Harry’s old rival, Draco Malfoy.

The touring productions — eight in the subscription season, plus two add-ons for a separate ticket price — will be performed at the Eccles Theater, 131 S. Main, Salt Lake City, the booking agency Broadway Across America announced Wednesday.
