Throughout the U.S., millions struggle with food insecurity. Here in Utah, where PMI Foods is headquartered, one in seven people face hunger. As a global meat distributor, we believe it is our responsibility to fight food insecurity in communities across the country. In recognizing this responsibility, we embrace opportunities to do our part and alleviate hunger, forging partnerships with charitable organizations from Florida to California. As I reflect on 2025, I find myself incredibly proud of my team and grateful for their continued dedication to giving back.

PMI Foods had the privilege of partnering with the Los Angeles Dream Center for a number of community events in 2025. When wildfires devastated the Los Angeles community, we partnered with the Dream Center in an event for families impacted, providing essential food, clothing, and supplies in their time of need. We also co-hosted a cookout for wildfire victims in advance of a WWE event to support the Dream Center, supplying rump steaks and baby back ribs that fed over a thousand people. Having organizations like the Dream Center ready to act when disaster strikes is critical. Anything we can do to make their efforts a success is a priority.

Later in the year, we donated over 3,000 pounds of beef tenderloin and prime grade angus beef to feed former service members in a Veterans Day event hosted by CityServe back at the Dream Center. Through this event, thousands of veterans in need and their families received a healthy meal and essential resources to get them back on their feet. Soon after, when the record-breaking government shutdown caused the suspension of SNAP benefits, our team at PMI quickly responded with over a thousand pounds of roast beef for meals distributed to affected families. We are immensely grateful to the Dream Center for being such a dependable partner in 2025, enabling us to fulfill our charitable mission and meet the needs of the Los Angeles community.

When devastating floods swept through Kerr County, Texas, PMI Foods sprang into action, partnering with Mercy Chefs to support the community. We donated over 5,000 pounds of prime beef short rib to their professional chefs and volunteers on the ground, ensuring the best resources were available to feed flood victims and first responders. This contribution resulted in the distribution of over 10,000 meals. Now that the floodwaters have subsided, we look forward to exploring additional opportunities to support Mercy Chefs in their ongoing charitable work.

During the holiday season we were also honored to work with Paula White Ministries to ensure underserved families in Apopka, Florida, received the Thanksgiving meal they deserved. We donated over a thousand turkeys, which Pastor Paula White-Cain and her incredible team distributed to over a thousand community members. This opportunity to provide for so many at such an important time of year made me tremendously grateful this Thanksgiving.

Every year, PMI Foods is honored to partner with vital organizations like the Los Angeles Dream Center, CityServe, Mercy Chefs, and Paula White Ministries, who work tirelessly to uplift those in need and spread hope in every community they touch. This year was no different. Through PMI’s organizational partnerships, I witnessed firsthand the positive impact of generosity at a large-scale level. Moments like these reinforce why this work matters, why connection and care are so important.
