From Cheap Trick to TRAIN, here’s the 2025 Red Butte Garden Concert Series lineup

2025 marks the 38th summer of the Red Butte Outdoor Concert Series.

Red Butte Garden announced its highly anticipated lineup for the 2025 Outdoor Summer Concert Series on Tuesday. The lineup includes 29 different concerts, spanning from mid-May to mid-September, with more than 50 artists across several different genres, from punk rock to folk.

Tickets will go on sale in two separate waves.

Wave One will consist of shows from May 19-July 27. Tickets for members go on sale online on April 21 at 7 p.m. and in-person at 9 a.m. on April 22. Tickets for the general public go on sale on April 25 at 10 a.m.

Wave Two tickets are for shows from July 28-Sept. 16. The online sale for members starts at 7 p.m. on April 28 and in-person on April 29 at 9 a.m. Public on sale starts on May 2 at 10 a.m.

A Red Butte spokesperson said public ticket prices this year range from $50-103, without fees, depending on the show. Members get $5 off.

  • May 19: The series kicks off with Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductees Cheap Trick.
  • May 29: Minnesota bluegrass group Trampled by Turtles, alongside Clay Street Unit. (Sold out)
  • June 5: English singer-songwriter James Arthur.
  • June 8: Actor and songwriter Ryan Bingham with folk rock group The Texas Gentlemen.
  • June 12: American soul band St. Paul & The Broken Bones and roots band The Wood Brothers with Cece Coakley.
  • June 17: Georgia rock band Drive-By Truckers and rock band Deer Tick.

  • July 13: North Carolina folk duo Watchhouse.
  • July 14: Indiana blues and rock band Houndmouth and country band Shane Smith & The Saints.
  • July 16: MacArthur grant recipient, Grammy and Pulitzer prize winning American folk artist Rhiannon Giddens & The Old-Time Revue.

  • July 20: Punk rock band X and Mexican-American rock group Los Lobos.
  • July 25: Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring guitarist Jerry Douglas with singer-songwriter Willie Watson.
  • July 27: Blues guitarist Christone “Kingfish” Ingram and Missouri guitarist Samantha Fish.
  • July 28: Alt-rock band Toad the Wet Sprocket with Minneapolis rock band Semisonic and Texas alt-rock group Sixpence None the Richer.
