A New England indie-alternative band and a Catalan rumba/flamenco group are the first two acts on Red Butte Garden’s summer outdoor concert lineup for 2024.
The indie band Lake Street Dive is scheduled to perform at the Salt Lake City venue on July 23, and the Catalan band Gipsy Kings, featuring Nicolas Reyes, is scheduled to perform on Aug. 20.
Tickets for both shows will go on sale Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. to garden members, and Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. for the public at redbuttegarden.org/concerts.
Tickets for Lake Street Dive will be priced at $73 for members and $78 for the public. Tickets for Gipsy Kings will be set at $64 for members and $69 for the public.

According to the venue’s website, this will be Lake Street Dive’s third trip to Red Butte, having performed there in 2016 and 2017. It will be Gipsy Kings’ fifth time at Red Butte; they last played there in 2022.
Red Butte’s outdoor concert series has been around since 1987, when four concerts were scheduled. Last year, the lineup featured 30 shows from artists and musicians of various genres.
According to Red Butte, the full lineup for the summer series will be announced in mid-April.
