The work, “Sankofa, This Journey: Go Back and Get It” compiles spoken word, music, dance and visual art. It’s presented by SLAC in partnership with UBLAC, the Utah Black Artists Collective. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 26, at 1 and 6 p.m. — all at SLAC’s theater, 168 W. 500 North, Salt Lake City. Tickets are available at saltlakeactingcompany.org.

McEntire will be bringing her current tour to Vivint Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City, on Saturday night, starting at 6:30 p.m. Opening acts are Terri Clark and The Isaacs. Tickets are available at VivintArena.com.
