Kilby Court, the iconic Salt Lake City music venue, is making plans for its third annual “Block Party” — with dozens of music acts, headlined by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers.
The venue announced Monday that the all-ages event will happen Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, at Library Square in downtown Salt Lake City. The main gate, at 250 E. 400 South, will open at 2 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday.
Bands will perform on four stages around Library Square for this third iteration of the local music festival, which aims to bring together the “local music community, internationally renowned artists and a variety of local greats,” according to a press release.
All attendees must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test for entry to the event.
Bridgers will finish out Saturday’s performances. Bridgers — on the strength of her second album, “Punisher” — received four Grammy nominations last year, including best new artist. (She lost in that category to Megan Thee Stallion.)
Here are the specific line-ups on both days, though more acts are to be announced soon:
May 13 • Mac DeMarco, Clairo, Mild High Club, Car Seat Headrest, The Walters, Jawny, Bartees Strange, Binki, Form of Rocket, The Still Tide, Dad Bod, Worlds Worst, Lord Vox, Idi Et Amin.
May 14 • Phoebe Bridgers, Steve Lacy, Animal Collective, Alvvays, Soccer Mommy, Choir Boy, Lomelda, Sam Evian, The Devil Whale, Kevin Devine, Kississippi, Brother., Blue Rain Boots, Nicole Canaan, The Rubies, Goldmyth, Cop Kid, future.exboyfriend, Fonteyn.
After-parties are scheduled at The Urban Lounge and Blue Gene’s on both nights.
General-admission tickets are $65 for either day, or $110 for both days. VIP tickets — which include access to premium viewing on the two main stages, the VIP lounge, and the priority entry lane — are $110 for either day, and $180 for both days. Service fees are not included.
