Phoebe Bridgers and dozens more set to perform at two-day Kilby Court Block Party

The third-annual event will take place on May 13 -14 at Library Square in downtown SLC.

Kilby Court, the iconic Salt Lake City music venue, is making plans for its third annual “Block Party” — with dozens of music acts, headlined by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers.

The venue announced Monday that the all-ages event will happen Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, at Library Square in downtown Salt Lake City. The main gate, at 250 E. 400 South, will open at 2 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday.

Bands will perform on four stages around Library Square for this third iteration of the local music festival, which aims to bring together the “local music community, internationally renowned artists and a variety of local greats,” according to a press release.

All attendees must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test for entry to the event.

Bridgers will finish out Saturday’s performances. Bridgers — on the strength of her second album, “Punisher” — received four Grammy nominations last year, including best new artist. (She lost in that category to Megan Thee Stallion.)
