Experience “Harry Potter” live in concert
Experience the magic of the wizarding world with “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince In Concert.” At 7 p.m. from Feb. 24-26, the Utah Symphony will play the film’s music live at Abravenel Hall (123 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City) while the movie shows. Tickets start at $30 and can be bought online at bit.ly/3sOCcCy. Face masks are required, and proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test are required for those aged 5 and up.

See a monster truck show
See some huge trucks in action at the All Star Monster Truck Tour, held at the Maverik Center (3200 S. Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City) at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 and at both 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 26. Advance tickets start at $15 for kids and $25 for adults, and can be bought online at bit.ly/3v1mVBn. Tickets include admission to a pit party held two hours before each show, and photos with and autographs from drivers. Masks are strongly recommended.

Attend a masquerade party
Head to Venue 6SIX9 (669 S. West Temple Street, Salt Lake City) at 7 p.m. for a night of costume masks, live music, dancing, food and drinks, and casino-style games at the 2022 Masquerade Party, held in support of the Utah Arts Festival. General admission tickets are $60 and include complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages, one alcoholic drink voucher, 10 points in just-for-fun gaming and entry into the end-of-evening drawings.
