The NCAA transfer portal isn’t set to open until Jan. 2, but the college football world is already gearing up for its version of free agency.
Utah has already seen several of its players announce plans to enter the portal this week, and the Utes are expected to be active in the market until it closes on Jan. 16.
Last season, Utah brought in marquee transfers like junior quarterback Devon Dampier and sophomore running back Wayshawn Parker. The Utes also retained key players like offensive tackles Spencer Fano, Caleb Lomu and Lander Barton.
Here’s a running list of the latest announcements:
Outgoing Transfers
• Sophomore quarterback Isaac Wilson.
• Freshman linebacker Christian Thatcher.
•Redshirt freshman quarterback Brendan Zurbrugg.
• Redshirt freshman defensive end Jaxson Jones.
• Sophomore wide receiver Bryan Spotwood.
• Freshman cornerback Jaylen Moson.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
