Where did Utah and BYU land in the 2024 Big 12 Preseason Poll?
Here’s where the media ranked the the pair of in-state rivals in the 2024 preseason poll.

The 2024 Big 12 Football Media preseason poll has officially dropped, and Utah is on the top of the mountain.
The Utes, in their inaugural season in the conference, notched 906 total points and 20 first-place votes, beating out new Big 12 foes Kansas State and Oklahoma State, which placed second and third, respectively.
BYU, the Utes’ in-state rival, came in at 13th in the poll ahead of Cincinnati, Houston and Arizona State. The Cougars finished the 2023 season with a 2-7 conference — 5-7 overall — record in their first season in the Big 12, with their only wins coming against Cincinnati and Texas Tech.
