Where does Cam Rising rank among the Pac-12′s quarterbacks?
Well, according to the conference’s media voters, no better than fourth.
Rising was entirely left off the list of Pac-12 preseason accolades released Tuesday. USC’s Caleb Williams was voted to the conference’s first-team; Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. was a second-team pick; and Oregon’s Bo Nix received an honorable mention.
Even without Rising receiving preseason accolades, no team in the Pac-12 had more first-team preseason all-conference selections than Kyle Whittingham’s Utes.
Utah had six players — more than USC or Oregon State (five apiece) — voted onto the first-team by media members, the conference announced Tuesday.
